Im using a bottom fed 3.7 (dunno if i can say the name here...) mod. Ihave used a 306 atty before and thought it was way to hard to use so ihave been using boge 2ohm cartomizers. The cartos are pretty good but dont seem to allow all the flavors from the juice im using through.

So to the question. Would you recommend the IO6 or the new 510 from ikenvape? I dont need tons of throat hit, and actually prefer a non scorching heat as my tongue feels burnt after a session with an EMDCC. I like the vapor production from the boge 2ohm but since i have a bottom feeder it seems kinda counter productive to have a carto on it.

Also is 1.8 that big of a difference from a 2ohm on a 3.7v device?

Right now i have the IO6 and the 510 in the cart with the IO6 specific drip tip, but i dont really want spend money like i have in the past on something im not gonna use (the 306 atty has stayed in its ziploc since my first rew tries with it...)

I would say give both a whirl. However based on your para 2, it seems you would prefer the IO6 better. It is no where near a 306 IMO. To me it is more like a 901 which I like but not as a dripping atty, so the IO6 is a welcomed addition to my stables.

The answer might depend on the bottom feeder you're going to be using.

I hope i dont get in trouble... Im using a Reo mini with the IMR 14500 3.7v batteries. Does the IO6 have as fine of a line between flooded and burnt as a normal, boge 1.5 lr atty does? Ive pretty much sworn off of those as using one made me want to smoke an analogue again...

I just tried some atties again... I tried 2 306, one a joye the other a boge both at 1.5, one 306 at 2.5 joye, and a boge 2ohm all were lr. I still like the boge 2ohm lr carto for some reason, i guess cause i still dont really have atty use mastered yet but the other is the simplicity of using a carto on the mini.

Is the 1.8 IO6 as finicky as the other attys i mentioned?

The io6 and my Mini are a fantastic combination. I love every aspect of it except the visually unappealing proprietary drip-tip. Vapor, flavor, heat & ease of use are unmatched. Again, YMMV.

Well I don't care for all the BS you have to go through for dripping so that will tell you where my heads at. I was into the mini 801 as it performed the easiest for me. It's not that I don't like attys it's just that they're too much bother. BUT, always a but huh? The i06 has to be the cream of the crop for me. It hits great, lasts forever and it don't leak. I've not tried the new 510 but the i06 has a better chance of converting me to dripping than any other atty I've tried.
So I guess I'll have to call it Fusionman certified.

^^Yup!^^ just to add...

There is a large difference in performance between bottom and top feed. I have tried both and although BF was fine, I prefer dripping (more control IMO). It doesn't mean that BF is bad, just not for me, but there is a delta between the two and hence why I stated give them both a whirl to find what works best since all our mileage varies. e.g I was getting better performance on my BF mod with a 2.2 atty vice a 1.5, go figure! My bottom fed mod is now equipped with a Switcher tank :) <----- thanks 5C :)

While i wait on the Io6 i have a new buddy for my mini, the clear DC avidvape 1.5, i didnt even know these flavors were in this juice! This thing is only about a 1/4" longer than the boge carto and gives better flavor, vapor, and throat hit! Depending on the durability of these i may just stick with them ( after i get through the 2 additional boxes of boges i ordered...
