So not one week after I started vaping again, my new ipro's button got cut/ripped. How? I don't know. It was in my pocket then not 5 minutes later I took it out and the button was cut. Just a little bit was left.

The Fix.....
3/4" shrink tubing and carto condoms....

I was planning on using the insert that goes into the carto but the base was too thick. I just ended up using the top condom with the little nub instead. I cut the nub almost flush but just a little left I then slid it over the button hole then heated it up to tighten everything down.
Here you can see how little the nub that I left but the base was too thick.

It works fine, I was afraid of misfires but you need to press right on the button area with enough force that misfires would most likely not happen.

Only thing I don't like is I can't feel for the button most of the time. But that's just minor.

Mike could you if I ordered another ipro make it with the button I had on my buzz? It was a harder plastic black button.

Thanks, I wouldn't mind paying a little extra for the bullet proof button.

I think I know what happened to mine, I was wearing brand new dickies pants, and they are well starched when new and the inner pocket also, I think when I pulled it out it rubbed and it got pulled down and the top ripped, I still had a little of the button left but not enough to trigger the switch.

So far so good with my quick fix, the tubing hasn't slide out of place (which was my main concern) and iv now gotten better at feeling for the button. Also no misfires and I highly doubt it.

I had my IPRO pcb replaced in July 2012...the yellow button broke off again today. I use my Buzz everyday and no problems, I hardly ever use my IPRO and again there is another problem with the button. I'm tired of it breaking with that cheap button! The IPRO has been a hasstle to own. When they changed my pcb in July my batteries wouldn't fix anymore they were too long. Sucks!!!!!!!!!!
