When I bought a VV device I bought an IP. This is how I see it.

Price: Lavatube, by far

Reliability: IP, this can be easily be determined by reading what owners have to say in these forums.

Support: IP, these are produced and sold by active ECF members whom you can talk to here and who are very quick to take care of any problems. Small business vs large production facility far far away.

Digital vs Analog voltage control: this obviously is user preference, the dial on an IP is much simpler to use and the digital is more informative but totally unnecessary for vaping experience. If you are the type of person who wants a CPU meter running on your PC or a tachometer in your auto transmission car you will probably like the digital controls. If you are occasionally curious about V with an IP you can always buy a cheap meter to check V at a particular setting.

Appearance: With IP you can get an attractive anodized metal finish with brass or chrome caps. Lavatube looks like most mass produced items, rather utilitarian, but not unsightly.

In the end they should both vape pretty much the same.

Infinity Pro all the way.

It's an American built, solid, genuine VV device with excellent support and a solid reputation. You can choose from different body color/cap combinations and it has a proven track record for reliability. True, it doesn't have the bells and whistles but it will NOT drop the voltage when you use DC cartos.

In contrast, the Lavatube is a mass-produced utilitarian device that drops the voltage without telling you (as a 'safety feature'), seems to have button and top cap issues and, IMHO, is still too new to be able to give an opinion on its long-term reliability.

Yes, I have an Infinity Pro - accuse me of bias all you want - and I have never even held an LT but it seems that the Ipro is the better device by many measures.

What iPro kit are you looking at that is 135$??? Are you including the tank and charger? Pricewise it's not really fair to compare the two with a tank option added on one. Even with chrome top cap and the charger/battery deal it's more like 110$ for the iPro. If you don't mind getting one of the "blemished" ones you can save another 10$ or so.
