The extra 50 watts could be relevant for future use. A guy at work has the IPV 3 and loves it. He has had it for months with no issues. Great performance and long battery life. He usually only rocks it at 50 watts with an Atlantis tank but has put a few RBAs on there with 1.5 or higher builds at higher wattage. Great performance!

Went with the IPV. So far, so good. Works as it should. Couple things I don't like. The charging cable that is listed on the box as included, actually isn't. Because of this, I have to remove the batteries to charge them externally, which means the cool memory settings reset to default every time. Total drag...I don't know what charging cable to buy for it...the connection looks like a 9 volt.

Other than that, happy.

That's exactly why I bought the 2S instead of the 3. I heard you aren't supposed to charge to charge the 3 due to charging issues with the two batteries.

I have both the Sigelei and the IPV 3. They're both fine mods but the magnets on the Sigelei's door make it my go to mod while the IPV3 languishes in the box for when the Sigelei finally craps out.
Keep in mind that your IPV 3 is also waterproof and I believe the Sigelei isn't. Perhaps you will want to use your IPV for those situations where you might be out in the weather.
