Seems as though stealth vaping would be safer since the PV would be in the hand the whole timecant forget those people who 'stealth vape' on planes though. It's difficult to enforce rules when people break em.

Just my thoughts....

Seems as though stealth vaping would be safer since the PV would be in the hand the whole timeAny overheating would be noticed Before it got to the point of causing a fire....

Which is why we stress, to those who ask, batteries go in carry on luggage. This has been in place for a long time now.
one would think, but then there are these people with facial injuries from their mods blowing up in their faceyoud think theyd throw the mod or bring it away from their face before the inevitable kaboom
If you are referencing the FB thing..... There are some serious doubts about that incident being raised. It just doesn't quite fit what happens when a mod goes. Unfortunately, there may be some background on the person's state of mind just previous to the 'incident'.
Sad either way![]()
yeah, i was looking into that also. There seems to be some evidence. im not completely sure about that one, but i do think since mods are unregulated there may be some looking into. I edited my last post i think while u were replying. But about the recalled mods malfunctioning. Would there be a possible way to deal with that? it seems that since mods are wholly unregulated, releasing a mod to the public that may malfunction has a high possibility.
Airline approved vaping gear anyone?![]()
Apparently not in the case of LIAT flights out of Tortola. Other security staff on different Islands do not have the same policy as the BVI from what I've been able to dig up thus far.I am hoping that in this case it was just an over zealous airport worker and that it doesn't become a trend. We all know how quickly the rules can change.
I agree. In a perfect world, people would be bright enough to travel with ecigs that they know won't cause any problems. Or disable them, if possible, so there are no chances of an unfortunate incident.
Who knows? It may come down to approved vaping gear. More regulations....just what we all want. Not.
If it does come down to Approved Gear, I can see them going more the way of being able to remove the battery.
Yes, but lately some companies have been blaming plane crashes like the Swiss one to batteries in the compartment. I think two or three batteries wouldn't cause such a mess. Just in case I suggest carrying them in hand luggage in lipo bagsWhich is why we stress, to those who ask, batteries go in carry on luggage. This has been in place for a long time now.
Nice that you found that! Thank you. I'm going to bookmark it for when the next thread that comes around and asks about flying and how to transport their ecig.![]()
Customs tend to have their own agenda, which is following the law of the land, and not airline policy.
maybe the TSA person vapes and liked your mods...... I had a solid gold Zippo lighter taken from me by a TSA... but I was allowed to bring the Bic onto the plane.... go figger...
