I love my ipv mini, but the finish on the "black" original is fading. I put a skin on it to help, and it does, but the edges not covered are definitely wearing off. I really don't care about the edges, but the buttons are another matter. The original finish on the firing button is completely gone and it has a metallic smell to it - almost like a handful of copper pennies. Also, it leaves this smell on your hands after using it.
Question: Is there a way to seal this surface so I don't get that metallic smell on my hands anymore? Would clear nail polish, or something like that, do the job?
