IPV mini jumping all over the place

I've had my ipv mini for about 6 months. Within the last few days I've noticed it randomly seems to burn really high and gives me a mouthful of awfulness. It's fine one minute, then out of the blue the volts and ohms are all over the place. Also, this morning it read "check atomizer" and "check battery". Both were fine and the batteries were fully charged. Is my ipv on its last last leg? Thanks, guys.

What tank/RDA are you using? Have you checked it with other atomizers?

It sounds like a loose connection somewhere in the atty causing the jumps in resistance. Check your posts are all tight (and coils are secure and not shorting).

I had a similar issue with my Sig150W, using an Orchid, started vaping fine, then all of a sudden a popping sound and burnt tasting vape. Tried again, it was fine, then the burn again. Turned out to be one of the coils had broken (first time I have ever seen that), sometimes it was making contact with the rest of the coil, sometimes it wasn't, so the resistance kept changing and the sig changed the voltage to match, hence the burning.
