I purchased my ipv Mini two days ago and so far I love it. Hubby's VTR shot craps so instead of buying another one I gave him mine and bought the Mini. My ohms are spot on and my nautilus Mini works perfectly on it. I want to get the 22mm Kanger Subtank once it is available. I also really like the gunmetal color as it does not show fingerprints too much.

For other products, not for our chip. Check Yihi's website. Our chipset isn't firmware upgradable unfortunately.

YiHiEcigar SX130 30W

Are you a rep for them?

So this is what's underneath the mirrored glass...

Also, I saw this online IPV Mini V2 70 watt Mod

How can they release a V2 when the V1 just entered the market 2 months ago? Perhaps this is what my local B&M meant or was misinformed about?

So - paradise didn't last long.

The plastic covering the display on mine is slowly starting to not hang on.

I contacted my B&M's support mail, waiting for an answer.
- They don't have the Mini in stock at the moment, so I'm hoping they'll say they're gonna do a repair or something.

*Sigh* a few weeks without it probably.
Last time my Vamo V5 had issues, it took another B&M in town a month to fix the issue.

Why am I unlucky? :D

Did you peel the sticker off the screen already?

Yes, peeled the sticker off the screen.

It's the thick part of reflective plastic, on top of the actual display getting loose and popping up.

Ah, gotcha, that is a bummer. Maybe some super glue would help.

Notice the IPV Mini v2 has a different chip than the v1. The SX330 V2C which is not currently listed on Yihi's website. The specs appear to be similar to the SX330 V2S minus the 15watt difference.

The new SX330 V2C may very have user upgradeable firmware.

I would highly doubt it will have user upgradeable firmware, if you look at the naming scheme of the other yihi chips, the ones for manufacturers with upgradeable firmware have S in the model, which I'm guessing signifies software upgradeable.

That stinks! An easy fix might be a wrap as all of them for the ipv mini include a wrap for the controls with cutouts for the buttons and display!

They will probably refer you to the warranty company Asmodus or you can go to asmodus website and complete the rma form pay the $8.00 service fee up front and ship it to them. I've had to do it twice now. The turnaround time has been 1 week bith times for me.

The Screen cover lies between the side edges. Loosen the 2 screws and spread the side slightly. Press it back a little. Pinch the side and tighten the screws. Maybe it will stay put. :)

SX330 v2 not v2s - i.e. the IPV2X chip in a smaller package.
Note: the (C) is Easy - Cloupor designation for the chip:)

Liking the jwrap... be careful when putting it on display. I had to pull back and reposition a little and the screen itself started to lift with the wrap. Feels secure now. The wrap does go upto top and down around charge port which will hold screen in now, in case it was actually coming loose... btw, had not noticed any problems with my screen prior to this...

I'm on my 3rd ipv mini. 1st one died after 3 weeks. Sent to asmodus, the replacement was defective didn't make it a day. Sent back to asmodus. The 3rd one is waiting for me when I get back home this weekend. Hoping the 3rd time will be the charm. I really did like the mod when it was working.
