I just got my ipv mini from My Vapor Store. Been using it for the last couple days. I really like it. I also bought Kanger Sub tank for it. It fits fine IMO. Very slight over hang. Some folk don't consider it a typical mini device. IDC. I like the form factor. I'm happy with it. I have a couple Provari, a VS rDNA30, iStick, REO mini and a couple Vision Spinners II also. This IPV Mini, gets along very nicely with it's new family of mods. I switched up the sub tank. It's on the rDNA, and have a stander size Kanger Areo tank on the IPV for now. Will probably switch back tho. My only gripe about it (also others I've read) is the charging port on the bottom instead of the side. Minor gripe tho.

I beg your pardon, but you're coming off like a snarky know it all with your facepalm emoticons and phrases like "doesn't anyone read descriptions anymore?" That's bound to get a reaction from others, even on a Sunday.

No disrespect intended, just calling it like I see it.

Sorry, just playing a bit of the Devils advocate. Tried to inject a little humor but that was obviously a fail.

I have been milking every dime for the last 10 months due to a Work related injury that has my right arm(hopefully temporarily) useless and in constant pain. Workers Comp acts indifferent with no end in sight. Expenses have run through the roof with the added dozens of trips to specialist............................

Never mind. That's no excuse for being short with my fellow ECF family.
Life will get better and we will all move on to other, hopefully more interesting topics.

Take it easy all and try to :D once in a while. it works wonders.
:)

I know the feeling. Couldn't walk for 3 months after a bad motorcycle crash (not as bad as the 10 months you're dealing with, obviously) and often found my humor was getting misinterpreted in one of the other forums I regularly frequent.

And don't you worry about me...I smile frequently. :D:D:D <------(see?? lol)

I hope I'm not jinxing myself but I ordered a new wrap for my IPV it was right after I wrapped the first one that it died ( sure it had nothing to do with the wrap just coincidence). Anyway I forgot how slippery the silver one is so the wrap is almost a necessity. Another nice feature of the wraps on these devices. The second one I received the mirrored plate on the front where the display is fell off. At least the wrap covers this area and extends beyond the top and bottom should help keep things nice and secure. I would have like that mahogany wrap that I bought for the first one because of the wood texture but it seems Geekmedic bought the last one...LOL. I decided to go with the black and green nebula in matte finish. I'll shoot some pics as soon as she's dressed for the party again. vaporskinz does have comparable prices and they have a 15% off coupon code and free shipping. I did check out the eBay wraps but nothing suited me and they are all glossy so it wouldn't solve the slipperiness.

I posted early about this wrap for the ipv mini for $6.37 with free shipping and just now pulled the trigger and purchased it (the wood grain one). It looks very nice, and price can't be better.

I'm leaning towards the One with the Diamond Pattern.

Well I dropped my Kayfun and IPV Mini today. Both survived but the weight of the Kayfun made the 510 connection on the Mini move a bit and the atty wasn't sitting flush on the Mini as it was before.

Thankfully a bit of poking and pushing with a screwdriver got it to fit flush again.

Is yours "slippery silver"? Mine is and (knock on wood) I haven't dropped it yet, but I have had a near miss. It's precisely why I ordered a textured VaporSkinz for mine. I don't want to damage this new mod if I get clumsy!

I have the same issue. Dropped it with tank on and now nothing sits flush :( I am afraid of poking around to fix it but it is driving me nuts...

iPV Mini Newb question. I'm interested in the following tanks, just want to be sure that they're compatible with the iPV. My impression of this APV is that it can handle practically anything a non-techy (non-rb'er) vaper can put on it. Plus I plan to use the completed unit for high-VG. Don't want to throw away precious funds on stuff I can't or won't use. Your feedback please....:) Mods feel free to move this post if it really should be in the Clearomizer section.

SILO Lite..(just bought this one, chose it over the Nautilus M cos it was cheaper & it looks stronger with more steel than glass showing)

I too am fairly new to vaping, and I run my ipv mini with the Atlantis sub ohm tank (clearo) and I use nothing but high vg juices.

Personally, out of your choices, I'd go with the sub tank, although I'd look at the sub tank mini which gives you the option to try the rba deck if you so choose. The nice thing about the sub tanks is that not only can you adjust the airflow, but you can also opt for either the .5 or 1.2 ohm heads. I find that with my ipv mini I tend to run most of the high VG stuff between 15 and 25 watts at the next to the largest air hole. It also gives you plenty to fiddle with; different juices taste better at different airflow and wattage settings, so you get the best flavor for YOU!

I just ordered a sub tank mini to ease switching flavors and to compare performance to the Atlantis.

Here's a comparison between the Sub mini and nano: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0cF7BQVrFA

subtanks of any size are going to work well on the IPV mini. And I too use high VG juice in that tank. love it.

mine is a 25mm sub on a silver ipv. I have the mini-subtank on the way as well.

First off, I love the background in your pic!

Second, how long are those kanger coils lasting you, and have you tried rewicking them yet?

I use the silo lite on my ipv mini everyday. I use aspire bvc coils (not nautilus coils) and love it. I prefer that tank/coil combo over my nautilus tanks... however, I vape 50/50 juice

The new delta 2 is out and am hearing good things about it. Like better than both the sub-tank and the Atlantis for flavor with the stock coil. As an added bonus like the sub-tank the delta 2 comes with a RTA deck. Some thing to think about.
