Hi, fairly new to the forum hence posting here.
I have up until recently been vaping on an istick and aspire nautlius mini.
However, I decided the other day to take the next step and have now got an IPV2x 60w and Kanger Subtank

The shop gave me an EFest Purple 3100mah battery with the IPV2x and I have inserted that and all was well until today.

The battery was on charge and fully charged this morning, but a few hours later I'm getting 'check batt' coming up on the screen and its not firing.
The battery still shows about 3/4 charged, but when I press the fire button, the battery shows empty, going back to 3/4 charged when I release it.

I understand that when I press the fire button, the display shows battery drain or something similar? But can anyone assist me with why this would happen so quickly? I've been vaping it a bit this morning, but not that much, and the battery was new in the device a couple of days ago.

Any assistance gratefully received.

Thanks

Thanks for that, according to the Efest website and the battery itself, its rated for 20A.

I should also add that it worked great when using the supplied OCCC coils, but this has happened since I used the rebuildable deck...I used the coil as it was in the box and just added the cotton as per the manual and various videos I've watched. The display shows the coil is at 0.7ohm if that makes any difference?

Yes it states that it is "20" amp but it is 20 amp pulse discharge and 10 amp continuous discharge. The 35 amp is rated for 20 amp continuous and 35 amp pulse. I believe if you read the IPV booklet it states "please use a 30 amp battery". Not 100% sure because I don't own one but that seems like the problem.
