i did take out the battery. it seems to not be installing the driver but i had the firewall off. windows finds unrecognized usb device so it is connected. not iin device manager and no exclamation point. answer might be to manually install driver but that is not a good idea and i shouldn't have to. i imagine this worked fine for some folks.

Obviously you want the upgrade so i will direct this to others people . If you have a device that allows wattage upgrades think long and hard before doing it because i am reading more and more just about everyday that many have totally messed up their device while trying to do this .

Unless you have interest in vaping higher wattages and your device is not getting it done wattage wise i say leave it alone.

Just my opinion of course

    No you can't
it cannot find the device. I know my way around a pc. can't figure it out. anyone have this happen and solve it?
I don't have an ivp2's but did have a Cloupor T5 that had the same problem.

On my T5 the battery had to be removed for any firmware upgrade.

This same thing happened to me with my Cloupor T5 when they had the firmware upgrade on Sept 16, I just kept on trying with battery in and out and final was able to get it going again with the old firmware it lasted a month or more and gave out.

I'll never again do any firmware updates on any device just opens the door for possible problems.
