Sooooo my mod keeps getting super hot. Even when it is off. I cleaned it and all but it's still super hot. Even when it's off it heats up hot to the touch. Like super hot. Anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?
Take the batteries out and put them somewhere fire proof. Once they cool down, recycle them. Take notice the orientation of the batteries as they were inserted.
It's been a hour and a half, I hope this cat is okay.
I wonder if the charge board on you mod is faulty... there has been some reports of the charging board touching the top of the battery sled connection and resulting in a short....
I've seen many people with similar issues with the IPV4 auto firing upon installing batteries, and where the mod would start to heat up and smoke upon battery installation without an atomizer installed. I'm not entirely certain but from what I remember I think it has something to due with a piece of plastic not oriented right.
It doesn't auto fire. And I put the batteries in correctly. I'm thinking there is something wrong with the batteries. I will try a new set of batteries and see if it continues.
It's completely turned off but as soon as I put one battery in it starts beating up (not firing the actual mod itself gets hot as dicks) it sucks cause I've had it for like 4 months with no issues this just started. I'll try new batteries and let tall know what happens.
if you don't have a warranty any more, and i'd bet you don't...you might try taking out the charging board, it's relatively easy to do and might solve the problem...you can see how on youtube
