I just built dual coil 26g 12 wrap ni200 coils. What a pain in the .... It registers at 0.13. Just wondering if anyone has any advice to make this easier... lol. Here's my thinking. If I went with 28g it would be even harder to deal with because it's super soft. If I went with 24g, I would have to do more wraps and that shizz won't fiit.... helps are appreciated!!!

you could try with titanium instead of nickel -- just be aware that oxidized titanium is pretty nasty stuff... so you would not want to run it hot... and you would have to adjust your limit down because it will be hotter than what is shown.
but it sure is easier to build with.
people also have been having luck with twisting kanthal and nickle together... again the temp will not be accurate so you will need to adjust.

Even if I wrap 5 wrap, 24 gauge dual coils I hit .16. Have you checked your ohm meter? Or can you post a picture?
