Why over .1? The ipv4s will do .05 in joules mode. On the velocity, using tempered 28 gauge ni200, 9 wraps on the 2.5mm coilmaster bit (dual coils), tests at .058 on my ipv4s. Or .061 on my sx mini.
Yeh I didn't realise it was 0.5 in joules mode, but even when i made a 0.7 coil and put it on joules mode it still said resistance too low when tried to fire it up, why would that be? I think the battery was low but wouldn't it come up with battery check not resistance too low?
Were you in Ni200 or Titanium mode? In Ni200, I haven't saw a low resistance warning until under about .047. And if it was the battery power, it should give a battery warning, not a resistance warning. That's kind of odd, unless maybe a coil is touching the side of the body, creating a short? You might check resistance with the top on, and off, to see if that's the case.
