Ipv5 75w issue

do we know why this happens?

For all who don't know how to cure it

Go in to TI01 mode max 120j hit fire then return to power mode and all is well again

Mine started doing this last night well once at least but WHY

I'm guessing the will put out an update to fix it?

Have you checked you build and 510 connection. A dirty 510 or a loose connection will cause that to happen.

Also, are you locking your resistance?

I do hope p4u comes with an update if its a software issue. They are not really known for their frequent updates.

I didn't say you were a Noob Paul. I have two and offered what I knew could have created the problem. I haven't seen or read anything regarding this issue until today. Sorry for offering up some thoughts.

Ah just viewed some YouTube clip. Weird issue. For what its worth it does look like a firmware fixable issue.
Hope they do their customers/you right and fix it quickly.

I kinda got disappointed with them with not even bringing a single fw update for the 4s. Don't think I'll be tempted buying their products anytime soon again.

The issue exists not sure how many batches are effected but they need to fix it as I'm a pioneer lover

Yes the yihi chip makes it interesting indeed and for the 40-50$ its indeed a good buy. Hope they fix the issue but at least there is a workaround.

Anyone have issues vaping with SS coils and using their TCR. I find I have to adjust my SS TCR from .00092 up to .00148 on my SMOK TFV4 and .00188 on my Uwell Raphael with either of their two SS coils?

originally that's what happened to me but when I swapped to another tank that had a nickel coil and every time I go back to SS its the same issue. According to KMG-Imports that warranty the IPV's they said most probably there will be an upgrade do to similar issues when using SS coils. I was just curious if others had similar issues
