Bummer. The TCR is reported not to function in v1.3 and v1.5 is the fully functional version. Sadly my vendor won't open the box and check the firmware version before they ship a replacement to me but I've already warned them that anything less than v1.5 will get shipped back to them.

Same. I've finally been told to return it, but they"don't know" what version it is...

Seriously. I miss the early days of vaping where vendors were bending over backwards for customers.

If she has a Version 1.5 IPV 6X for you, then it's win win. Sure you'll have to play around with the TCR to get accurate TC. Other than that, they're both good mods in wattage mode.

Thanks, I will have to go up there and check. My problem is I strictly use SS430 in TC, but I can use it in wattage mode for a free device.

I was leaning toward the IPV because I like the centered 510 which can fit about any attie made.

P.S. If she has the version 1.2 IPV 6X, then I'd definitely go for the 213.

Yes. Daniel DJLsb did a review and said TCR is functional on the latest, 1.5, version.

I would pick the IPV6x over the sig 213, I have both and neither I would guess do TC well (I use wattage mode) but the sig 213 also misfires too, at least the IPV6x doesn't have that problem.

According the dsjvapes review the v1.5 firmware has functional TCR, something the earlier versions were missing.

I likely won't be seeing my replacement until next week or more and you can be sure that I'll test it out once it arrives. I'm still ...... at Sigelei so could not recommend 213 regardless.

Yea I followed the Sigelei 213 fustercluck, still a great looking device but I definitely know what you're talking about.

As I said I've keeping eye on news over at SlowTech, and some more peeps are receiving the ver 1.5, and so far it looks good for TCR.
