What voltage are u vaping at? I am using d2 too.. if I vape high voltage the battery level will drop.. then will go back to the normal level when I release the trigger. I guess it's normal.. it just shows how much power you are extracting from the batt every time u draw.. my 2 cents.
I'm vaping at around 30 watts. My battery level is always full, only when I press the fire button it shows the correct battery level. I guess my d2 is glitchy :/

Hi, i recently bought an ipvd2 . However I notice the battery life Is short .
But that doesn't really bother me, the thing that bothers me the most is that the screen shows I'm at full batt but when I press the fire button, the battery level drops and shows the correct battery level, is that normal?
Mine does the same thing... to check it out I hooked up a inline voltmeter with the Atty attached..voltage read the same as in the display even though batt level shows a drop... my conclusion is this is normal for this mod... I might add I've had my D2 for a couple months now and have had no issues at all with it...

Thanks a lot! I thought I was the only one experiencing it with the d2 . I guess I just have to live with it [emoji23]

It's just how d2 behave. It just shows that your d2 is firing correctly. Don't worry, at the end of the day, the d2 will show the correct batt level.

That is normal. Not a glitch. Not that it is showing the correct level after firing, it's how much the coil is drawing from the battery. But still, it shudnt draw that much. Check your battery max discharge. Say if your coil is 0.2ohms, firing at 30W 2.44V would come up to 12.2A. That's 2.44/0.2. But if your batt is only 10A max dis, it would draw more than the batt can supply. Which is why you see the drastic drop. I'm running sony vtc5 with 30A max discharge. Batt only goes down only by half when firing at the same setup above.
