Took the plunge and bought my first Triton battery. Wanted to do a little comparison with my SI X2 batteries. Well on the website the Iridescence looked really cool. Like Chromium pant. Well in person it is like bag of Skittles. Not very manly. I was really looking forward to trying this one out too. Hopefully I can get an exchange.

I've seen YouTube vids about it and some other pics, and bought the kit in 650mAh. I like it. Mine doesn't have much yellow, it goes from green, blue, purple, red...

Everyone who has seen it seems more interested in the whole vape thing.

I'm just waiting for someone to earn a "teeth rearranging" and question my choice.

One thing, though. The irridesc is hard shiny metal finish. It seems all the other Halo batteries have this satin finish, almost like a real thin (feels like rubbery?) coating. Makes it much less likely to slip out of fingers.

My black VV is flat and non-shiny. But the Blue VV is great, like a deep finish on a custom car.

Hopefully an exchange is possible. Or you can always swap.

Oh trust me I doubt anyone would question my color choice. It was more in jest. But the color is not appealing to me at all. Mine is more yellow, pink and green. And I don't care for the smooth feel either. My other batteries other than my silver all have a little texture to them. Gonna try for an exchange. But if not I guess I can look for a wrap that will fit.

Hey DaveOno. Any issues with the finish on the blue on peeling??? I have a blue from another company and it is almost silver from the coating peeling off. Many people have had the issue as well.

I've only had my blue VV for about 125 hours. So far, so good!!! And my irridecs are about 60 days of HEAVY use, and still look great. A few micro little dots where the finish was knocked off.

I bet if you took a fine wire wheel, you could get an amazing brushed metal look. But the shrink wrap idea works, too.

You might be able to find a heat shrink wrap to go on it. It would give it that rubbery feel like the other batteries

Did anyone find, or can anyone recommend, a wrap that works on the Triton batteries?
Or have any idea how to make one?

I'm feeling a craving to bling out all my tanks and batteries and tips. Looks like I need a T2-510 adapter to use all the many VERY fun and exquisitely cool drip tips I'm finding (is that right? T2-510 adapter?), but I'm having trouble figuring out which wraps work on the Triton batteries.

OMG - I need this - what fun! I have the iridescent batteries too. They're fine, but I prefer the slightly rubberized feeling of the vv. So I might try this dip - hey a new color every week:p

I'd google Heat Shrink Tubing. If your bat is 1/2 dia., get 3/4.

Also, there's Plasti dip

I've used this on cars, wheels, mowers and a guitar amplifier. If you don't like it, it will peel off. Wild stuff!!!

Imprint, I didn't know you wanted it to look good...:)

And Amanda, you can do a halo logo on the hood with the plastidip. It will peel off!

I'm a having enough fun just rinsing and soaking tanks!!!

You mean on my car????LOLOL I took my daughter (16) to a vape shop today, and they gave her a tee shirt with their logo on it....she doesn't vape, but the tee shirt is cute. I'm quite sure she won't wear it, and all my friends would think I'd finally lost it if I wore it. They might be right, of course:p
