Okay, here's the scenario: I have three models of e-cig that I use at different times because they all have their pros and cons -
1) DES901 - aka mini - at home most of the time, with USB passthrough
2) RN4081 - aka super-mini - at home occasionally
3) M401/2 - aka EVO - outside / at work
Other than pipes and cigars (except disposables which I do have), the one style that I don't posses is the original classic 801 aka penstyle.
What I like about the 901 is the light draw, easy topping up and the flat mouthpiece. What I dislike is the poor battery (obviously!), sticking switches, and the need to top up frequently, e.g., every 15-20 puffs or so.
Is the 801 any better for these 901 limitations? I can see that the 801 has a bigger atomiser and a much bigger cart but does it actually make much difference in practice? For example, my EVO has a much smaller cart than the 901 but it uses it much more efficiently so it needs topping up less even though it's smaller. I see that I can get an 801 with a manual switch and this is very tempting because I'm fed up fighting with the automatic switches.
In the beginning, I thought I wanted an e-cig to be physically similar to a real cigarette but as time has gone one, I now realise that there are more important considerations so I'm wondering if the 801 might not be a bad purchase (investment?!) after all.
Any advice appreciated.
