Just wondering, what makes chrome better than polished stainless steel? Stainless steel already has the potential to be super shiny if you polish it, why plate it with chrome?
Hmmmm, no response from them..... I'd really love to know why it was decided to use chrome when stainless steel polishes to the same mirror finish and isn't prone to wearing out like chrome is..... is it the shade of the metal? I know chrome tends to be 'brighter' than regular polished stainless steel...
IDK but the chrome looks awesome. When i saw the chrome one at my local meet i knew i couldn't settle on the Satin Silver one. For $20 more the chrome looks so much better. I plan on eventually buying a Black Chrome one as well.
I like shiny things too, which is why I just bought a chrome one, but only because polished stainless steel isn't an option. I can say I would much prefer that over chrome or any other plating for that matter.
