Is ecig possession and usage illegal in Turkey?

Yes, so it says, but where can you find the info to prove it is so (other than this text)? Not from the two links the page is referring to and all I could Google was that the sales and advertizing is banned.

The same site also says (situation in Finland):"not illegal to purchase from overseas sources for personal use" and this is only partially true as it is only legal to purchase from another European Union country (not from USA or China).

Not trying to be a nitpicker, just to be sure before I leave my ecig at home and switch back to tobacco in Turkey for a week :)

OK. I have decided to take the risk and will take my ecig to Turkey. I will report what happened, if I will have access to Internet (= not in Turkish jail) :)

Cigarettes is not a choise anymore!

You should be fine, just don't flaunt it. And by the way, Turkey is nothing like it was depicted in the 70's and 80's, having said that still would not want to do time in a Turkish jail!

Everything went fine, didn't try my luck to vape in front of the law enforcers, but on the beach and in the restaurants no-one banned vaping. For curious wonderes I told it was "an electronic water pipe" :)

Checked the ego-T's as hand luggage both ways.

Hope you had a great trip.
