Is Gplat wire unsafe?

If we know what's in it and it's a standard wire, why won't the manufacturer release the MSDS or the actual composition of the wire?

More to the point, how do we know its composition is the same if they won't release this information?

I don't know the answers, but if it's as clear cut as you suggest, there should be no issue with them giving this information out. Or at least telling us to go google it.

If memory serves correctly they did not want to give out their "secret" recipe or else competitors could make it, lol what a joke from these people, they just didn't want people buying the same wire at a freaking jewelry shop or knowing it is so cheap you can buy it by the pound in some instances...

I can not remember the site or link but I did see several metallurgy tests on it showing it is, and I quote, "316l/317l MIG welding wire"
