Hello Everyone:

I'm wondering if the juice, like the atomizers, batteries and carts, is all pretty much the same stuff. I mean it all comes from joyetech, Ruyan and maybe 1 or 2 other big manufacturers in China, right?

Obviously there's Johnson Creek, who manufacture in the US and regularly get trashed on the forums (I have no dog in this fight, have yet to try them...)

But what is the real difference between, say, Riskee and Ry4? Is it all just named differently? Does Totally Wicked use a different blend of ingredients than anyone else? I mean, it seems like everyone has the same basic 10 flavors, just named and packaged differently.

Thanks!

When it all boils down to it, I guess you can say that it is all pretty much the same, but at the same time, it isn't.

95% of the ingredients might be the same, but i'll tell you what, that other 5% makes a pretty big difference. Pepsi from Vapornine isn't the same as Coke from Puresmoker. Menthol from Vapornine isn't the same as Menthol from Totally Wicked and Njoy.

I guess I can compare it to the various cigarette brands. I am certain that Parliament brand cigarettes uses nearly the same ingredients as Marlboro, but hey.. They have a pretty big difference in taste.

I don't look at the various e-liquid manufacturers any differently than the example above.

I have used mainly pure e juice from puresmoker. I ordered the sample pack (VG) from JCreek and was unimpressed although I really wanted to like it. I think it even killed my atomizer but im not sure, may have just been a bunk atomizer. I have a bottle of totally wicked marlboro 24mg on order (since 3/13) I am still waiting on and also the cash sampler pack 24mg from puresmoker should be in the mail anytime now.

As for the JCreek, I don't use it anymore since the atomizer death.

I'm still fairly new at this too Shakey, but from the ones I've ordered, Puresmoker, Totally Wicked, Janty, and True Vapor, yes there is a big difference in taste and vapor production. Personally my absolute fave is Puresmoker. I just got my first bottle of True Vapor yesterday and it is a very close 2nd. I did not care for the Janty I got but a lot of people like Janty. It just comes down to ind taste. I really like the glass bottles and droppers that TW and TV provide. I could be wrong but I think TW is the only one that has had a lab test their juice and you can find their results on this forum. I like menthol and TW's was not mentholly/minty enough for my tastes but that's me.

I think it is 99% the same (with maybe the exception of JC who has a much different process, but seemed to have some purity issues), the only difference being the "flavors" they use.

To me it is like buying gummy bears. They are ALL gummy bears, but that .1% that is artificial flavor makes it taste WAY different. Better? Worse? That depends on the user. Honestly to me the thing that makes by FAR the biggest difference is how well your atomizer works. They are so unpredictable and flaky that from drag to drag they can go from awesome to blah no matter what the juice flavor.
Kind of like buying a 20 different cakes mixes and cooking them all in a stove that randomly switches racks and temperatures. You may know your favorite mix, but depending on what the stove decided to do that day you might find your least favorite one tastes best that day...

in my opinion they are not created equally. i have peach and mint from truevapor and red bull from wicked and the red bull blows both the others out the water. not just taste but the amount of vapor produced. i just got the red bull today and what a difference. i have both the dse 901 and the smoke 51 model and it performed extremely well in both models. tw will get my business from now on. the quality is great. just my thoughts.

I've tried TW "Tobacco" and Puresmoker "Camel" and "CaSH Tobacco" The one I consistently come back to is TW. I like the flavor of the Camel, but is too weak on throat. The CaSH Tobacco (labeled Mboro) is harsher and not as nice as TW's but still flavorful and nice throat. If I can somehow catch TW's Camel in stock at 18mg, I'll be ordering it. Based on what has been posted here, TW is pretty much always a sure bet.

a few flavors that were really strong for me:

Janty cappucino (good)
Janty "cigar" (bad imo, I think this is called "heavy shag" on their site)
PS French Pipe (do not want)

Other than that, I have 555 (24mg) from trueVapor, which is very subtle and I like it, same can be said for their chocolate. Also 36mg coffee from TW, which is so strong it just tastes like throat blaster (in a good way).

RY4 is a good flavor. You can order most of this stuff from china at a much lower cost (and some risk at customs maybe?). It seems to me that it all comes from there. Do suppliers do some mixing after that? Maybe, but I can do that myself...

I have also noticed that a strong atomizer produces more flavor...
