Is it considered poor etiquette to tag a member you don't know in a contest thread?

I'm interested in contests and was tagged in a contest thread today by a friendly member whom I've exchanged a few PM's with. To enter the contest, I have to tag two members, but I've only posted a few threads here and besides the guy who tagged me, I'm not really on friendly terms with anyone.

Would it be considered bad style if I just tagged someone at random from the members who have replied to my threads?

But that is OK. If you had Tagged me and then had Won, I would have Wanted at Least 1/2 of whatever you Got.
