Mainly for health reasons. I vape very often and I would like to take in the least amount of vapor possible. I also read that vaping at high voltages creates dangerous chemicals, and I assumed higher ohm's could be good for low voltages.

I also think vaping may make me cough sometimes, and perhaps sometimes even gives me a sore throat. And I thought low vapor output might help those problems.

When I first started vaping I always looked for the way to get the most vapor, but because of the reasons above I'm starting to look for lower vapor. Plus Racehorse's response in this thread has me thinking I could save some money by using less ejuice.

Have a nice day/night,
Chad.

It is not high voltage that should concern you, it is high temperature that should concern you.

So long as you vape in the 5 to 10 watt region on 1.5 to 2.5 ohm 30 gauge coil at 4 volts, you should be a good territory for staying off the cigarettes.

What is dryburn-ing the coil?

I did use a cigarette lighter to heat the wire before coiling, and then I wiped the wire clean. Is there something I did not do?

Thanks,
Chad.

after you put on your coil, applying power to the coil to make it glow red burns off any stuff on the coil; this is called dryburning.

I recently purchased a Sigelei Mini Zmax mod, Efest 18350 3.7v 800mah batteries, a few rebuildable atomizers, and various 24-32 gauge resistance wires.

I want to make atomizers that produce very little vapor, and I plan to vape on the mods 3.0V setting. There is lots of safety information out there about the lowest ohms that can be used with 18350 batteries, but little to no information about high ohms safety.

What is the highest ohms that could be safely used at 3.0 volts with a 18350 battery?

Thank you in advance for your replies,
Chad.

Thanks for idea Chad!
I tried my 1.8 ohm coil on 3 W setting (usually I am on 7-12 W). It still produce noticeable amount of vapor, very serviceable amount to be used as a pacifier when I am sitting behind a computer. Now I can stretch my daily dose of 4 ml even better.
