It's very easy, however you must take care with your measurements since nic is a poison. I would suggest as you get your feet wet with DIY you start with lower mg nic to mix. Small batches are best, never add nic until you get the flavor percentages down. You don't want to waste nic on stinky juice. Head on over to the DIY sub forum. You will find all the info you need to safely get you started. Congrats and welcome to the forum.

Listen to this!! ^^^^^ I learned the hard way. I flavored 50 mls of juice with 20% spearmint (YUCK) and had to pour it out. What a complete waste!!

... use it as flavoring lol!

Just last night I combined three ol' so-so DIY sample batches ('bout 8ml total). Can't really describe the taste, but it's pretty good...

I use pg from Blaines Farm and Fleet Ipaid 20 dollars for a gallon I buy vg from Walmart its like 3 dollars for a 6oz bottle this will make a lot of juice. You can get pg and vg with nic in it. If you get pg at 36mg and mix 50/50 with 0mg vg you would have a mix at 18mg. Make sure all your pg or vg has USP on the lable as this is a food grade and is safe. I mix my own juice using cherry pipe tobacco from a smoke shop were i live it is my all day vape. Experiment with small amounts till you get the right combo. I allways wright down all my calculations as I make my juice so I can go back and make it again when i have a good mix hope this helps you out if you have any questions everyone on the forum are very helpfull.

Don't buy random VG though. The Glycerin at Walmart (the Humco brand near the rubbing alcohol) is known to be 100% vegetable. Some USP glycerins contain animal glycerin too (USP allows that) and that doesn't taste good to vape.

Or buy stuff at a DIY shop like One StopDIYShop or DIYFlavorShack

And test/decide your flavoring percentage with a small no-nicotine batch before making a larger batch for vaping.

I use Humco brand vg from walmart. Pg from tractor supply. 50mg no flavor pg from extremevapors. Then I find a flavor I think I would like. Lets say rootbeer. I figure roughly 20 drops equals 5ml. So I make batches of 100 drops without nic. That way I'm not wasting nic juice and it makes the percentages easy to follow. Lets say 30% flavor, 30%vg, and 12mg nic. That's 30 drops of vg, 30 drops of my rootbeer and 40 drops of pg. Now taste it. If it's good(and this is my rootbeer all day vape) I add the nic to a bigger batch. 12 mg from 50mg juice is 24 drops. So instead of 40 drops of pg you would put in 24 drops of nic juice and 16 drops of pg. So the recipe would be 30 drops vg, 30 drops rootbeer, 24 drops 50mg nic juice and 16 drops pg.

I hope this helps. And as suggested make small 0 nic batches for testing.

I'm finally getting satisfying and a few great juices with DIYing. Yeah :)

I'm over $800 in DIY supplies since starting the latter part of August. Not to discourage you. It's not cheap to get started. I might start saving someday. Best advice is get the safety gear that's suggested, keep a chemist's notebook or just notes on every juice you make, anything you add to it etc. You'll be glad you did. The ejuicemeup calculator is heaven sent and free at breaktru.com. The DIY section of ECF is filled with bright minds that have been DIYing, some for years now. It's fascinating. Have fun:p

Mixing your own is alot of fun. I use nic PG/VG base and I am now getting the higher nic so I can dilute it with zero nic PG/VG. That will save me some$'s For flavors, I have learned to mix them separate, better a bit weak then add more if they need more flavor. Tobacco flavors need time to steep for best flavors. With flavors mixed alone, you can try different blends in your carto with a drop of this and that juice to see how you like it. It is a lot of fun. bnrk
