Yes it is!

All you need is concentrated nicotine juice, PG or VG, and flavoring.

I get 60mg nic juice at MyFreedomSmokes (it is hazardous in this kind of concentration, DO NOT VAPE WITHOUT DILUTING!), and PG or VG for diluting is cheap - $3-5 for 120ml. You cal also get that at MyFreedomSmokes.

And then, flavoring. Common and well-liked companies are LorAnn, Perfumer's Apprentic, FlavorArt, and others. Water soluble is best.

Do some reading here. Make sure you know what you're doing:

I DIY most of my juice. It's much cheaper.

It's also not a bad idea to wear rubber gloves when working with very high concentrations. Nicotine can be absorbed through the skin. I don't *always* wear gloves when I am working with 60mg, but I do when I use 100mg. That stuff is VERY dangerous, and you don't want it on your skin. But it lasts for ages, because a little goes a long way.

Again, make sure you do lots of reading before you begin.

i'm thinking about starting to make my own juices and was wondering what you guys think about these kits.

DIY MIXING KITS

i was thinking about picking up the silver kit since i don't really care if it comes with pg/vg or nicotine (would buy larger quantities elsewhere). i figure $34 for the needed hardware doesn't seem like a bad price. i'd rather do that than try to piece it all together or run around trying to find it all locally. has anyone bought these kits?

I didn't buy my stuff from them, but I hear nothing but great things about DIY Flavor Shack and it looks like a pretty good deal.

I'd go for it. For a nic base, start with 36mg to 60mg and get yourself familiar with mixing before you go for the crazy stuff like 100mg. I've been mixing the whole time I've been vaping and I've only now gotten brave enough to try that stuff!

I also was thinking of mixing my own juice,,,,especially with all the talk about banning juice.....Question: Is the "shelf-life" longer for the pure nic juice, say the 60mg strength over normal mixed juice you buy?

As far as I'm aware, no. 18 months is the average I've heard for how long it "keeps."

nice, i'll probably be ordering a kit from them this week then.

i was thinking about starting off with 100mg and just going for it. i figure if i have to mix it, it doesn't really matter what i start with. i'll just have to be much more careful with the higher concentrate stuff.

I did my first mixing just yesterday; received a 30ml bottle of 48mg/ml from Tasty Vapor along with a 120ml bottle of zero-nicotine flavor/pg/vg mixture, combine all of both of them into a large bottle and stir well, very easy. Ends up at 9.6mg/ml in theory, which is what I was going for because I'm trying to cut back a bit from 12mg/ml which is what I've mostly been vaping. Some day I will be at zero nicotine, maybe. :)

I am also interested in starting some DIY flavors. I have done a lot of reading up on it and I am a little leery of it. I am accident prone and I have a dog (I have accidentally gotten ketchup on my dogs head and another time half of my plate of chinese food and of course all of the things I have spilled on the floor instead of my dog :) ). If you are going to get into this make sure to read up on the dangers of more concentrated nicotine liquids especially if you have pets or children.
