Is it even possible to to recommend a good tasting juice?

With the drastic differences in preference between vapors, is it even possible to accurately proclaim a juice maker and their flavor as "the best". I know there are a handful of juices out there that have a taste that a large amount of fans agreeing that it is good, but how is it possible to accurately recommend a juice to anyone else?

Actually I may have just posted a impossible question to answer.

Not really possible unless you know something they all ready like.

Everyone tastes are different - when someone asks for recommendations all you can do is give them your recommendation based on your individual preferences.

All we can do is tell others what we like and why we like it, and add remarks like "If you like ABC food, you will probably like XYZ juice."

I look at it this way... my taste buds are mine. What tastes good to me obviously may not taste well to another. So I just keep an open mind when reading juice reviews and such.

of course not, there's not much that's more subjective than taste.
When I see someone says that something is "the best" I assume they mean to themselves.

i take opinions on ECF with a grain of salt. way too many members on here who have very low standards for good juice... one reason I ended up wasting $60 at MBV on all the juices people here were raving about, UGH. Same story for Alice in Vapeland.

But on the other side of the coin, i was able to find Bobas Bounty, Vapor Chef, NLV through this forum so that is good too.

Not that it tastes good but everyone agrees on the flavor

In a nutshell, yes and no. I might check out a juice vendor because of recommendations from here. However, I will only actually purchase specific flavors that sound good to me. For instance, I checked out Alien Visions E-Juice and ordered Bobas Bounty after it was hyped on here, but I only pulled the trigger because I generally like sweet tobacco flavors, like RY4s. Same thing with Velvet Cloud Vapors and Good Life Vapors.

If someone says "I like ry4 but then one i have is too sweet" and things like that it's pretty easy to recommend something they will probably like better but even then.

I've narrowed my box down quite a bit. I don't like strong fruits or any candies. Sweets are cloying to me if I vape them more than 30 minutes. But I do like bakery stuff quite a bit and NETs have just recently hit the top of my list. With a narrower box I find it much easier to find stuff that I like. Takes time and money though. Very few shortcuts are available outside of hitting a b&m and sampling for free.

Once I realized I really liked NETs, the NET thread quickly steered me to some fantastic juices. I'm quite thankful for that thread but nets are definitely not for everybody.

I look at it this way. We can all agree that Five Guys is just about the best burger joint ever created, right? I mean... Everyone knows that Five Guys has the Best Fries.

It's when you get to ordering the burger that things can get complicated, all driven by personal taste. Myself, I like a double patty with cheese, bacon, pickles, ketchup and mustard.

I like their hot dogs, too. But I dare not put ketchup on a hot dog (lest I anger the Wiener Ghods) and go with mustard and onions only.

Well, you're absolutely right about that. There are few absolute truths in this world, but that's one of them.

I know that I can be confidant in recommending something based upon quality, and qualify the statement noting that "tastes are subjective" but the quality of the juice itself will help it to meet certain criteria.

That's the best anyone can offer.

performance, consistency, cost, flavor. In that order.

It really depends. I find reviews on juices that I like or don't like. If the reviewer found the same profiles and has the same likes of dislikes as me then I know it pretty safe to go with their juice recommendation. But the same token I like to mention in my reviews that tastes are very subjective and such. I have said I cannot imagine anyone not liking a certain juice. But then when DH or friends taste it they don't like it. You can base your decision to try a juice on other statistic that are more definitive as well. How good the customer service is etc.

I would say this question can be answered both yes and no. "Yes" one vaper can accurately recommend a juice based on your tastes if they are known. There are specific qualities in a juice that you like it can be very easy to identify other juices that have those qualities. And "No" because no matter what you taste buds are unique. And just because one juice has many of the same qualities that you look for in a juice it may have something else you find repugnant. But to others that quality would be benign.

As long as we all know these to be truths, it is easier to identify recommendations that you would most likely enjoy.

When you read a review where 3 or 4 people claim a certain juice is the best tasting juice on the market, I've found that juice to be a good flavor. It may not be the juice that makes me drop my pants and sing yankee doodle dandy, but its a safe bet that it is a quality juice. The juices that have been hyped by the masses are the juices that will always be satisfying and the ones you must keep in stock.

I just say what I like, along with other juices I have liked. I have found that if I find someone that has liked some of the same juices I have liked, I have a better chance of liking what they like. And while all of our tastes are subjective, if someone like A and you like A, and they like B and you like B, then if they say they like C, chances are better that you will like C than if they liked A and you hated it, and they liked B and you threw it away.

Yes and no. I tend to make recs to people that I notice seem to gravitate to the same types of flavors I like. Since I'm partial to sweet dessert type juices and creamy fruit blends, obviously I'm not going to jump into a "best tobacco flavor" thread and start throwing out recs.

OTOH, I do like some coffee blends, though I don't vape many, and I will suggest from my experience what I found appealing to me.
By the same token, I tend to read posts that pertain to the types of flavors I like, and I can pretty much surmise from their descriptions of the taste of a juice whether I'll like it,too.
