Is it just me, or are the Cartridges not lasting very long anymore?

I don't know if I'm just being paranoid or what. But ever since the premium/cool carts came out, it feels like I'm getting half the cartridge life as compared to, say, last year. It use to be that a cartridge would last me all day, but now I'm looking for my juice after about 20 puffs or so. I haven't been vaping more aggressively, so I know it can't be how I'm using it.

After about 20 puffs or so I start to taste a slight burning flavor. Lo and behold, I can put about 5-8 drops in. And can only refill them about 3 times before they just become weird tasting.

Is this all in my head? Am I expecting too much? Or have you guys been noticing the same thing?

Yeah, I recently ordered a pack of green, blank premium carts and loaded the first one with V4L menthol. Vapor production dropped off after about one day to the point where I had to throw it away. Now, on the other hand, I have a menthol cart that was pre-filled which has since been rinsed and cleaned and it still tastes great and produces clouds of vapor. I've had this one for about 3 months now and still works like a champ. It's unusual since it looks like a premium cart but has a smaller hole so the plug thingy won't go in and the filler material looks like there is about 3/4 of what usually is put in there so I have to add juice more frequently. I wish I had more of these. I might have to order a pack of Menthol carts just to get the carts unless they have been changed to the standard ones.

I purchased two 5 packs of coolcarts and pack of the coffee sampler. The coolcart blanks all seemed to have such a light draw that i REALLY had to work on them to get any vapor or a good hit on them. I turned the thing on the bottom to tighten the draw but the blanks still did not work at all. The coffee sampler pack were also coolcarts and I have been refilling them with way better results for some reason. I even bought a new battery to see if it was the battery but no luck, so now I have a pack of the regular or WOW carts on the way to see if they work any better. The coolcarts used to work awesome but it seems like they all have way to light of a draw and most of them found their way to the trash can. All the carts were used on a manual XL batt aswell.

Looks like V4L is changing manufacturers AGAIN! Honestly, this is getting frustrating. We never seem to get to a place where we know what we are getting. I am a bit ocd and these types of things really upset me. It's like getting your favorite drink but every time you get it, they change ingredients. Quite annoying.

Hope this stuff gets worked out. I have noticed this going on for years now...

Oh, and Happy New Year everyone!

I'm fairly new to this company from just a few months ago. I can't imagine what the cartos USED to be like, because the "cool" ones I've gotten may not be exactly alike all the time (notice the insides can look a little different from one to the next) but they seem to provide more flavor and vapor than 2 other brands I've tried and last a half hour of CONTINUOUS use. I do have a friend who prefers some other company I have yet to try, but everything save maybe a rare low performing carto has worked great to me /shrug. I refill mine and use blanks. I also did experiment with cleaning one in alcohol and hot water then letting dry for a day or so, and it vaped like new until I tried vaping it too dry again :S. That was a wow carto though. Also, it's hard to beat the price here.

It has been hit or miss on some vendors premium cartos. It is irrititating when your use to getting a brand name cartomizer and the vendor purchases from another supplier whom might not have them manufactured up to the others standards. I have switched around a bit on who I purchase from in the last couple of months due to too many inconsistancys.

From my recent experiences, Cig Easy's brand Gold Label Deluxe cartomizers perfom consistantly better from VFL, Vapor Nines defender and even Litecigusa's 2ohm low resistance premium carts. Always the same quality from repeated purchases.

The atomizer appears to be slightly thicker, better construction of sock between filler makes for better durability with repeated fill ups. I can get about 1.5ml of juice in them without depending on the juice. PG based work the best though can dry out the carto faster if they are using any type of alcohol to cut the base especially if there is a vg/pg ratio and the alcohol helps produce a better TH.

All that aside could be other variables involved? The Gold label deluxe cartos seem to hold the juice well and I can get by longer with out dripping a few drops on the filler for a few hours of heavy vaping.

At any rate they are about a buck or so cheaper than VFL WoW carts and seem to hold up better. Hopefully in the coming months someone will come out with the ultimate non problematic carto that we can all brag about!

A HALF HOUR?? Each cart should last the equivalent of between 12 and 20 cigarettes! Even if you chain-vaped,
they ought to last 3-5 hours.

Exactly what I was thinking. If they only last half an hour of continuous use, it would cost my husband a millionty-two dollar a month to vape, even refilling them. We'd have to buy his juice by the gallon. :)

Aren't those Gold Label Deluxe ones not very easily refillable, SSV2? The kind with the hard cap on the end?

The blank Gold Label carts have the soft thick cap that pops out alot easier than the hard caps did.
I was vaping some Honey flue cured today with a GLD cart filled it with about 1.4ml and would drop about 3-4 drops in it every couple of hours to keep the filler totally moist. Its much easier to top off with a few drops with these softer caps.

I am pretty sure Cig Easy is running a clearance sale on the ones I believe you are referring to...

I have a pink Cool Cart from V4L that I filled with Atomic Cinnacide. I'm embarrased to say, (but I'm among friends right?), that I've been topping this carto off for well over two months now. I use it everyday and everyday I say I say to my self, "I should really clean this carto, or replace it. It can't be healthy to use the same carto for this long". Then I say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Well I have only been using the product since November I use only prefilled carts and I have no complaints. My dad was still using the carts from another vendor but got into a bind today and I took him some WOW Cowboy carts - got a call from him tonight wondering just how much more mine cost (not much) and put my second order of the day in for him - a ton of Wow Cowboy so for what it's worth:)
