When I decided to
buy my hardware I considered these things (not necessarily in order) :
1) Price - Obviously, I didn't want to spend a fortune because I'd already blown over $300 on GreenSmokes (my own stupidity). Coming up with that kind of cash to begin was hard enough. I couldn't afford to blow much more.
2) Satisfaction with the product - Were people happy with what they bought? Would they recommend it to anyone else? Would it help me give up analogs and make me happy?
3) Reliability - Did the product last and perform consistently? I didn't want to go through the hassle of replacing things every other week, or buying something that wasn't going to last a while.
4) Vendors - I wanted vendors with high marks in customer satisfaction. I also looked at selection, price and only choose vendors in the U.S. because I wanted quick shipping. I was so glad to find the ECF Vendor's List. That helped me narrow things down a lot!
I'm willing to order from different vendors to get what I need. Sometimes I can get
batteries at a better price from one, and atomizers from another. I guess where I'm trying to go with this is that sometimes you just have to know what you're looking for and put some effort into finding it. Do I always get the best price on my stuff? Not always. But I always get stuff at a price that I can afford, I've always been happy with my purchases, and the vendors I deal with have always made sure that I'm 100% happy.
In Mistress Nomad's defense, she offered honest, unbiased opinions and made fair suggestions. That's all any of us can do here. Ask 10 different ECF members where to
buy things and you might get 10 different answers. We all have our own experiences and our own preferences. We aren't here to intentionally steer someone in the wrong direction, but rather guide people toward the path that's right for them.
