I bought 2 801s recently and while I loooooove the battery longevity and the cart storage, I rarely and I mean rarely, get any type of a hit off of it. I get some so so vapor but I can take the exact same liquid put it in my trusty 901 and get a good strong punch, but little to nothing in the 801.

To see what kind of hit the thing is really capable of, I always try it first with the cartridge completely off. If you get a good hit that way, then something else is wrong. If no hit then....could be the atomizer....try blowing it out. And make sure your battery is good. Mine was lighting one time but got no hit....tried it on a full battery and it worked. The battery can fool ya. I also realize if I don't take a primer hit first then an inhale hit, it doesn't work as well.

Jut some suggestions.

I wish it was, thanks. I would love to see some pics of your bully, I had one for 13 years and when he decided to go on to greener pastures I haven't had the heart to adopt another one. I will some day.

if so...i think you have the new battery type.....try inhaling in puffs

I've had some Janty-type 801 atomizers and for me there is too much air coming into them, not enough vapor density... it may have to do with four-hole vs two-hole but I haven't been able to quite pin it down.

Nah I think I have one bad battery or atomizer. I tried a new atomizer and battery and get one heckuva hit. Now if puresmoker will settle down so I can get me some good juice then I will be happy. And if I wasn't such a wimp I would make my own. Paranoia may destroy yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Oh nah I made her name long because I wanted to make her a show dog. But lazy me = P I never did all the routine of standing her straight, only walking the dog on the left side and bringing her to shows. I just played with her all day and didn't bother with all that, now she is soooo stubborn and spoiled. I doubt she will become a show dog. = ( Plus she has a really big under bite and I think the judges don't like that... oh well...

Funny you mention this. I have an 801 from Vapor4Life. One battery works great, and the other I need to puff on a few times. It drives me nuts. Overall the thing kicks ...., and give great vapor and throat hit. I'm thinking passthough...avoid the whole battery issue in general.
