I am so upset right now. Ok, so I know these things are not meant to last forever, but how long should a reasonable person expect them to work?

I received my Vapor King pv on Dec. 17th. Since that time I have gone through 2 usb passthru's and now a battery.

I was sitting at my computer with my passthru, took a puff, waited a few minutes, took another puff, nothing. The passthru was dead, just like that. Received a replacement and the exact same thing happened just last night.

Now, just now, I was talking on the phone and took a puff off my auto battery. I noticed the LED didn't go out, so I took another little puff to see if that would "trigger" the battery or something. LED still on, so I unscrewed the cartomizer, LED went out, that's a good sign, screw the carto back on LED still off, took a puff, nothing. Dead. Just like that. Screwed the battery into the charger just to see what would happen. Nothing. LED didn't blink twice or anthing. Battery is just dead. Just like that.

I just got out of my mailbox today my order from V4L for 5 bottles of juice. What the hell am I going to do with them?
Even if I placed an order this very second for a battery, I wouldn't get it for 3-4 days. I am only kidding myself if I thought I could go 3-4 days on 1 battery. Frankly, I don't have the money to buy another battery right now anyway. I spent all my analog money on juice.

So, where does that leave me? Let's see. I have pre-filled carto's, empty carto's, DIY supplies and pre-made juice. All that money wasted and only 1 battery.

I really thought this was going to work for me. Granted, I don't have any money for cigarettes, but all my friends smoke. So I may not be able to buy cigarettes, but I can certainly bum them.

Sorry, but I just needed to vent. All this money wasted on this faulty junk.

Stuff just happens sometimes. My 1st pass-thru from nhaler only lasted 6 weeks, but my one from V4L is still working for over 3 months. Lesson learned, I have 4 new unopened pass-thru's for back up, 100's of ML's of juice and probably 50 or so unopened cartridges and 5 batteries. Just be a little better prepared. You don't have to have what I have, but at least enough backup to sort any problems you may have.

Justin, I was in a similar boat. All I can say is, thank goodness you bought from V4L because they will do their best to make it right. I know it sucks when your batteries go. I'd like to say "Grrr....it's so tempting to go back to smoking!!!"... but the truth is, it's not. I guess that is why it's so frustrating.

Being at the mercy of hit-or-miss equipment is definitely a "con" of this relatively new "vaping" world. But for me, the pro's outweigh the cons by such a longshot....especially when you have the best warranty you can ask for. Hang in there please!!

When I used 3 piece units I kept spare attys and batts, now I keep xtra batts. Its common sense. You know you cant run out and buy them.To me its kinda silly to blame anyone else. This is new techno and some things are bound to fail.V4L is awesome with replacements, better than any other ecig company Ive dealt with.I cant blame them if Im not prepared.I always had enough cigs and a spare lighter. So to answer the question is it you or is it junk?Well you tell me.

I don't think that was very supportive. He clearly said he doesn't have the financial means to have a large stash.

Justin...HANG IN THERE, P-L-E-A-S-E! If you will pm me with your mailing address, I will send you a couple of batteries out of my stash in the morning. Do you prefer auto or manual? I have both. Just keep them and let's hope they'll continue to hold a charge for you!!! ;)

Now that is rare in this world. I am used to people only caring about themselves. Thank you for lifting my spirit a little today.

Justin, are you batts autos? Edit: Yes, they are. I just noticed that. If so, try blowing into them to reset the switch. Also, try leaving the batt on the charger for a little while, then remove and then try charging it again. I don't know if it'll help your case or not, but anything is worth a try right now. Sometimes my leds don't flash on my charger but the battery charges anyway. Just something to try for now.

Also, re: the passthroughs, try unplugging and replugging them into the usb port a couple of times and see if that might reset those as well. Make sure computer is on and running, not on standby or sleep mode when you do that.

I wasn't trying to blame anyone. I was just stating that as a reasonable person, and from what I had read on this forum, I expected my hardware to last at least more than a month. Had I known to EXPECT my passthru's and batteries to fail in such a short amonut of time, I would have invested more on them up front and not as much on juice and supplies.

The charger that came with my kit

ok then, it must just be junk. Throw it all away and go back to smoking.

Or you could give some useful info like a usb charger or wall charger. I ask because you could have a problem in the usb. Or it could be a kicked breaker for the wall outlet, or a gfci kicked. Or it could very well could be a bad battery. I see you refill, try manuals. You could be getting fluid in the battery/ pass through. Just eliminate the easy free fixes.

If you got a kit, didn't it have 2 batteries?
Yeah. 2 batt's and a passthru. The passthru died, got a replacement, the replacement died, just las night, now one of my batt's just died.

So I am down to only 1 battery and enough supplies to last 4 months!
