o.k so i have been totally anolog free for 2 weeks now and im a SI vapor. i have been vaping the tobacco flavors mostly from volt now for several months. now yesterday i opened up a fresh smooth sampler pack (all 5 tobacco flavors pack) and vaped different flavors throughout the day and evening...by the late afternoon i was noticing that i was NOT tasting much of the flavors and it got worse during the rest of the day and into the early evening. now im not a chain vapor, i vape casually as of now. im not sure if my taste buds went on vacation or did i vape all the flavor out of these carts (all 5) in such small amount of time (one day or less than)? the carts are ALL producing great thick vapor still and im getting some of the distinct flavors, but wow - the taste has really disapeared mostly already. previously i had purchased 6 packs of the smooth sampler tobacco carts and the pack i opened up yesterday was number 3....i dont recall the other packs of carts losing their flavor so fast like these are. i have also tryed to take a slightly smaller, longer draws to see if im just sucking the flavor out of these carts faster now because im stricktly vaping now instead of smoking cigs...still not getting much flavor at all from all 5 carts. i never before noticed the flavor disapearing so fast like this from any volt carts even tho they were freshly opened carts? is it me? is it the carts? like i said, they are fresh carts and they are giving tons on vapor, but the flavor is just gone south already!!! now ive read here on the forum about vapors taste buds going dead on them here and there, but ive never had this issue before AND i can vape my Nicquid juices (and other brands of juices/carts) and get tons of flavor consistantly...? this sucks....where's the flavor i love from my volt tobacco sampler carts? i could ramble on and on, but i will just leave this post here and wait for your thoughts about this ordeal. Dude! I feel your pain. I have experienced the same thing, but I now top off all my carts with Volt liquid at the end of the day and it's back to normal. Ya know that them carts ARE refillable! I have found also that in some cases, I may eat a spicy food and it kills the flavor of my carts. It could be a taste bud thing if you are still getting lots of vapor out of those carts and no flavor as your buds get used to the flavor it diminishes a bit. All I can recommend is to get some Volt liquid and top off carts at the end of the day. If that doesn't solve the flavor problem, it's gotta be your buds!
this just happens with vaping our taste buds get wonky... it is suggested to try a menthol or cinnamon flavor during those no taste moments.
I actually keep a carto of menthol and vape it once a day. I've managed to avoid the wonky taste buds that way 
Sometimes your taste buds need a palate cleanser, just like the other suggestions menthol and cinnamon flavors can clear things up.
im expecting a new shipment of volt juice tomarrow and I am gonna top of a cart or two to see what happens. I still have several new packs of cartos I could try but I don't wanna open them up and not vape them just to see if those taste the same...I vaped the volt tobaccos this morning and I can taste them but just still not as near powerful as when the carts were freshly opened. I think the flavor on the volt carts just diminish really fast once opened and vaped. and im vaping on my x2 battery, im sure that sucks up the juice fast too AND now that I have quit smoking analogs (yippie) I seem to have wwwwwwway more lung power and I think im inhaling and taking wwwwwwway bigger draws off my pv. seems like now im taking much longer draws and have noticed ive engaged the 5 second cut off on my battery quite a few times now (lol)....im becoming a vape hog !!!
I think that Imagine is right.....you could have taste duds right after quitting analogs. Then again I have noticed that my Volt flavors diminish faster when using cartos and the x2 batts. I use mostly the 65/78 batts and top off the carts daily so I guess I don't notice it as much. Congrats on kicking the analogs!!
When I switched to the nano clearos I felt it upped the flavor ante quite a bit.
I'm loving the nano's, the bonus is they seem to hold up to a flavor that melted my mini nova.
well after a few days my taste buds seem to perk up again....all is good again in vapeville !!! I also do believe that my volt prefilled carts were just low on juice. my juices came in...I refreshed a couple carts and now all taste great again. got my new spinner too, but im still getting a feel for it. ive been switching back and forth between the spinner and my x2 just to vape the differences. I do know that at least for now I don't enjoy a hotter setting on the spinner, it hurts me !!! I assume after im more used to using the spinner and also get more used to even vaping in general I will get accustomed to a hotter vape. so far my best setting to vape the spinner is 3.8 or slightly less.
