Anybody else having issues with battery life on the rx200? I have 3 brand new married vtc4s in there and they work just fine, only problem is I find myself charging them everyday. It doesn't come up showing low battery or anything I just go by the display which after a usual day of vaping it goes from fully charged to about under half. It's maybe me and I'm just being over cautious and not wanting to discharge too far, they always seem to take a while to charge aswell when I pop them into my i4 charger. So is it me or the mod?

It's us! I was the same way when I got my RX! You can let it run down to just a sliver of the bar left & still have about 3.5v+/- left! As far as time to charge I know my D4 goes from 750 mah for 2 batts to 350mah for 3 or more! D4 & I4 made by the same company so I would think yours is the same!

First:
Wattage used?
What are you considering a Day? 12hrs. 18hrs.?

Second:
Piggybacking an extra 18650 in that charger?

I4 is Dual channel - 1&3, 2&4 coupled. One Battery on each channel charges at 750mAh.
2 Batteries on either channel charge at 500mAh.

Remember - VTC4 starts with a Low mAh rating.

1: fully charged is 4.2 volts.
On your mod, when it says half charged, usually that actually means 3.7 volts which is the nominal charge voltage.
By 3.2 volts your mod would be saying 0 charge.
Your regulated mod won't accept less than 3.2 volts or thereabouts so you won't discharge too far.

For a 2500 mAh battery,
using a nominal 4 volts
total energy = 4 volts x 2.5 amphours = 10 watthours
which means your can vape
10 watts continuous for 1 hour,
or
100 watts continuous for 6 minutes.

Mine last about the same vaping at 50 watts...probably 10-15 ml of juice a day. The screen shows about half discharged (12-14 hours vaping), the i4 usually shows about 3.40-3.60V, depending how much I used the mod. It takes about three hours to recharge the batteries.

I'm sorry I had to! :lol::lol::lol:

Something is up with the RX though I've heard alot of people say the same thing they get about a day's worth of vaping. My Wismec DNA200 gets a minimum of a day and a half usually 2 days. Nothing fancy either usually .4 50w with 3 LG HE4s or 3 LG HG2s, and yes I chain vape.

You're not the first person to say that about the meter going from full to half, that's gotta be something with the chip.

once a day charging seems normal.... how long of a charge were you expecting?
Ive got the IPV4 and its at 35W and requires a fresh set every morning

I don't know about that, I get 1 and a half to 2 days easy.

I also have an RX200 with Sony VTC4's. I get about a full day out of my batteries also. I am not at all disappointed though, because I chose these particular batteries for the safety. I understand that Samsung 25R's and LG's will last a bit longer, but I'm happy with my choice, and will probably buy another set of 3 this week.

I got the Samsung 25r greens and my work days are around 9-11 hours depending. I notice if I use my rda's at my usual .1-.15 ohm at 85-130 watts I can get through my day and a couple hours at home. But if I'm using my griffin rta with a .3ohm build at 60 watts I can get through Damn near 16 hours easily. And I'm using the previous version of the update, .07(?)

well one has to consider all the variables too... resistance, wire gauge, occasional or chain vaping.
someone doing a 28 ga single coil 1.2 ohm @ 3-4 puffs per every 15 minutes will get alot of battery life compared to a 22 gauge dual coiled chain vaping clouder :)

I get a couple of extra hours out of the 3rd battery in my RX200 as opposed to my iPV4. Running the same RDA with VTC4's at 80W in both. It's about what I expected. It's a series mod, so you don't actually get any more mAh out of it, just higher voltage. You run at a lower amperage at higher voltage though, so I guess the math works out about right.

isn't the wismec wired in series?
so the voltage is the addition of the three cell but the amps would still only be 2100 mAh not 6300 as it would be wired parallel.
I am by no means an expert this is just my understanding please correct me if I'm wrong.
You're right I just figured it would last longer then it does, it isn't an issue really I was just curious. @Stephen1520 no I'm afraid it's three new batteries, finally @haleysdadda i don't even let mine go down to that so it would probably last longer then I'm thinking haha
