I just upgraded my rx200 to the 3.0 update, and it is stuck in ni temp mode. I can adjust all parameters but can't switch modes. Could this be because I did not do the other 2 updates as well? Anyone experience this or have suggestions? Thanks

The interface has changed with the 3.0 firmware. It is now three clicks of fire button to get to mode selection, up or down button to select and fire or allow to timeout to lock in the chosen mode.

Yes, I learned the new way to select through the different modes. Thank you. However, I'm still having issues with the SS temp mode, which I had hoped the update would solve. It works great in wattage and Ni temp mode (haven't tried Ti yet), but SS sucks. It goes straight to "temperature protection" as soon as I hit the fire button, no matter what temp I set it at. SUCKS!!

I haven't tried SS yet. I'm waiting on some SS wire. TI has worked good for me tho

Yeah, a few youtube reviewers all had issues with tc in ss... the 3.0 update changed the tcr for ss and now its too underpowered for 316L. Luckily, You CAN roll back with joytech and wismec products so its not all bad.

What tank and coil are you using in SS mode?

What tank and coil are you using in SS mode?

I was trying the joyetech cubis with the 0.5 coil and was also going to try the crown tank because those coils are also SS, but never got to it because the SS tc mode sucks so bad.
