Is it my juice, is it my carto?! What on earth is it?!

So I use boge SR cartos and I love them but recently they've been doing crazy things. I changed juices from my DIY'd juices back to store made as I wanted to use them up but they never clogged my cartos like this before! Even on brand new cartos, I'm having to take way heavier draws and a carto is lasting 3 days rather than my usual 8 days.

I tried cleaning my cartos the other week and it worked OK...although I appear to have created a magic carto! juice goes in a pale yellow colour, wasn't readily absorbed by the filler material and within seconds it came out the battery end a dark brown colour. Now, I'm not one to flood my cartos like that but what on earth is going on?! I cleaned the same carto again this morning and you should have seen the gunk that came out! I've never seen a carto like it! GROSS!

Any advice?x

1) clear/brighter juices dont clog the carto as fast as darker juices.
2) Since nothing can beat chinese prices I always order like 300 cartos from china. Sometimes they last incredibly long and sometimes I have 3-4 in a row which just won't work properly or die in a few hours. It's simply about luck if you ask me.
3) I always check cartos just by how they look before I fill it. Sometimes there is less filler material than normal, sometimes the wire looks like it's cut into the plastic tube in the middle, sometimes.... you get the idea. If it looks like it's not crafted very well I usually toss them directly without even giving it a try. Had to many duds already ;)
4) Good luck ;)

It's really peculiar isn't it?!

The juice was bought in January this year. It's VapeEscape's RY4 that's the strange one although I think it might have been happening with their Virginia too. It's yummy, yummy juice but it is very sweet... I used to use VapeEscape's Virginia all the time but had never tried their RY4 before...

Perhaps I'll have to toss this juice, if that's what it's going to do... sad times!x

If just bought in January your juice should be fine. It could be that it just isn't a carto friendly mix. Instead of tossing it if you like it maybe you could pick up a juice delivery device that doesn't have filler material in it.

I have one juice (STL Gooey Butter Cake) that doesn't play well with filler JDD's. I have a little T4 (you can get them at discount vapers) and I am loving my juice again. Only have one so I really need to order a few more of them.

Well it's 70/30 and was produced on 2012/11/30 and expires in 2014/11/29...I've got a new carto on and that's a terror to use right now too! Very little vapour, very little TH and its giving me a headache to draw so hard on it.

I'll DIY myself some juice this afternoon and then go back to it in a couple of days when it's steeped... there's always my ecab in the meantime, I guess...but will the juice not do the same to my (much more expensive) atomisers?x
