Is it necessary to top off cartomizers when used in tanks?

If its drawing right you shouldnt have to.You can take dry pulls without hitting the button to pull a little more juice into the carto. The top will never look wet in use except when you first fill it.
Yea, I know. I still top mine off with a few drops if I'm adding a new carto to my tank.
I always fill my carto fully before testing it, punching it and putting it in my tanks. Is completely filling the carto the first time unnecessary if it's going in a tank?
No youre still going to want to prime the carto by filling it.most people do it when its inside the tank but whatever works for you
I always fully fill the 1st time before it goes in the tank. If I am in a hurry and don't put enough drops in sometimes I kill my poor helpless carto on the 1st drag because it's not wet around the coil yet. This is a most unsatisfactory experience for me
Ahhh, i'd never thought of filling the carto while it's in the tank. My current method works, but I'll probably give it a try sometime. Thanks for the info!
as the friend zooped said while you are vaping the carto on the top will always be dry, by adding a few drops at the top it does not make any difference because after some time again will get dry. the best thing to do in order to maintain the carto wet is to fire the unit once you place the carto on your mouth and start inhaling so you always suck additional juice on the carto
I usually keep my carto fairly wet. Every 30 or so hits I slide the tank up from the bottom cap and back down forcing more liquid into the carto.
Personally, I insure my cart is at least wet on 1st use. After that, a drag without power usually takes care of any issues. But that's me. As you can see, everyone has their own ways of doing it.
