remove the wick & bridge to maximize throat hit & vapor production & taste your juice better? I have some attys that I removed the wick & bridge & they seem to be doing alright they are 2.5 ohm attys by the way, I have a low resistance atty that I just got in the mail yesterday but I have not modded it yet, just trying to find out what's the best way for dripping, which is what I've moved to. Any feedback would & will be greatly appreciated from anyone who replies, thank you in advance, keep on vaping on ECF!!! :vapor:

p.s. on a low resistance atty what's the best way to clean them? On my other attys I do the 91% isopropyl alcohol bath as instructed by cozzicon a member of ECF & he also has that & other video's on you tube.

This can be done, but its a crap shoot, since sometimes doing this will disconnect the coil, killing the atty. It also will render the atty drip-only. I personally have had only about a 50% success rate in not killing the atty when doing this, and I only have done it when the atty pulls very sluggishly, and cleaning does not help. It will also likely shorten the lifetime of the atty anyway, since the juice is going directly on the coil. But it is something that is commonly done here. It is certainly, however, not necessary. Indeed, the wick and bridge are there to keep juice from feeding too quickly to the coil. There is a reason why they are part of the atty design.

Good luck!
