Just got some of the clear dual coils from vapor kings and threw some watermelon candy from honeyville in it. Been vaping it probably for 4-5 afternoons now, and the juice in the carto has turned a brown color throughout rather than being a very very light pink.

Is this normal? Something to worry about? Maybe it happens more often than I've realized and just never been able to see it.

So is it normal?

I noticed this with light-colored juices in the DC clearos as well.

As Fray says, I think it's a natural discoloration caused by the juice being exposed to the heat of the coils and light - doesn't seem to be any difference in taste or TH and, I guess, it's a harmless side-effect.

If thats the case, I think I might be kinda disappointed in the wicking of the dual coil. Theres a stripe up the side where the wire runs, and the entire bottom is deep brown.. says to me its been sitting there for awhile, not moving.

I've also noticed too, you don't get even close to the best performance out of these unless they're kept full.. which kinda defeats the purpose of holding so much juice.

Burnt juice makes sense though, just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything to worry about!

Totally normal in my experience. Cartos can get pretty gross lookin and with the clear tube theres no hiding it! Once you start noticing the flavor starts tasting how it looks its time to toss it or give it a clean. I had just watched a video the other day about cleaning the clear dual coil cartos by removing the plastic housing. i cant view youtube at work right now but Pbusardio (i think i spelled it right) is the uploader and hes an ECF member though I'm not sure if thats his ECF tag or not.

I've seen that video. It's very good and makes a ton of sense. Go, Phil!

I've only used a couple of DC so not enough experience with them to notice. I use CE2s all the time and with them I find it's juice dependent. Some stay the same consistency and tint from full to empty. Others can get darker and quite a bit thicker by the time the tank is low, those are the ones I'm trying to move away from but they also seem to be my favorites lol.
