is it normal to have the voltage drop when the atomizer is in?

Hi,
I have made a box mod, and the voltage reads at 4.16 with a fully charged 14500. When I put the atomizer in, it reads at 3.73. Is this normal?

Yes if the button is pushed it's under a load with a atty or carto in it.

completely normal.....its the difference of a loaded and unloaded battery

Thanks for the replies guys. Would 4.16v on the battery and 3.73v under load be considered good or bad? I'm using a mosfet on this one, and I'm just wondering if the difference sounds about right.
