Is it normal to not get a buzz after vaping an hour ago?

If you have never smoked and take up vaping i wouldn't reccomend using liquid containing nicotine. Nicotine is a extemely addictve subtance and i don't think most of us would use it we weren't already dependent on it from smoking.

Most supplyers of liquid offer theirs in a 0 nicotine option. I would reccomend using that if you want to enjoy vaping but don't want to get hooked on nicotine.

I'd suggest you try not to use as much nic. Just my opinion, please don't think I'm telling you how to live your life or being an *******. The reason I'm saying this is because they are not kidding. Nicotine is actually deadly. One drop of pure nic can put you in the ground. 50mg. That's all it takes. When you're vaping 18, it may take a while, but it can happen if you're trying to get a nic high. Just use your best judgement, try finding other ways to enjoy your Vape, maybe flavor chasing or cloud chasing. Enjoying your nicotine isn't a bad thing. Just please don't go chasing a high.

Ummm..what? Pure nic is NOT 50mg.

It was that buzz that drew me to smoking after I first tried it and I enjoyed it for a few weeks. In my experience, I stopped getting that buzz with few exceptions during the 21 years that I continued to smoke. Like when I smoked, it's very very rare that I get a buzz from vaping. I get nauseous (nicotine sick) the more that I vape rather than get a buzz.

As I repeat everytime this "buzz" issue is mentioned: nicotine is not for the purpose of getting a buzz; there are plenty of other substances for that. Nicotine is for those who've smoked and gotten accustomed to nicotine, and others who may have some medical condition for which nicotine is beneficial. It's not a "party drug."

I'd just say it's good at being mild. A short-term physical relaxer and mental stimulant. For some high-strung people it could be a good thing .. without the smoke of course. You should be able to feel it if paying close attention, it just shouldn't grab your attention like downing a shot of JD or something.

I don't really feel anything from vaping. Not-vaping makes me feel like I want to vape -- that's why I vape; if the vape wasn't available, then I'd want to smoke, despite how hideous it would probably taste to me now, after 10 months of various sweet fruits and cream.

But I smoked for 39 yrs, and the last 37-38 of them, I didn't feel anything from smoking either, except the relief of the desire to smoke.

I can't remember EVER getting a nicotine buzz - have I been doing it wrong? LOL

Seriously though, if I overdo it, I may get dizzy, or get a headache, sweats, nausea, etc. - but that's not what I'd call a buzz. I'm like Andria - I use nicotine to overcome symptoms of nicotine withdrawal (anxiety, fatigue, etc.)

And for goodness' sake, if you don't already have a nicotine addiction, why on earth would you want one? Addiction is NOT pleasant -- ever!!

Yes the buzz you're feeling is the rush of a lot of nicotine to your receptors and maybe the change in your blood pressure. When I used to smoke cigs, I would get the " rush " when I went 10 hours without smoking and smoked a cig. I don't get the buzz anymore with vaping however I do get very waked up or relaxed depending on how much I vape. Nicotine isn't a drug that you should rely on giving you a buzz. If you want a buzz I think you're vaping the wrong stuff. Especially since you were not a smoker before, I wouldn't focus on getting a buzz from nicotine.

I haven't gotten a "buzz" with vaping in the same way I used to occasionally with cigarettes (when I smoked an amount higher than my tolerance). I'm not sure if that's because I vape low nicotine, or if it was the other chemicals in the cig causing the "buzz".

Even when I did get a "buzz" with cigarettes, it was more like lightheadedness that lasted for a few minutes and wasn't anything particularly fun or exciting (usually just makes me sick). I don't see the point in chasing after it, in addition to the risks mentioned.
