Is it possible to rebuild Kanger Protank III / Aero heads into single coil? (I want to avoid rubber in protank II heads)

Has anyone rebuild their protank III / aero heads into a single coil, and is it as easy / good as rebuilding a protank II head?

The reason is that I would like to avoid the rubber bottom in the protank II heads, and much prefer to use the safer silicone in the aero / III heads (I'm worried about the rubber being heated and leaking dangerous stuff into the liquid).

Lightning Vapes now has the silicone insulators (as well as the rubber ones) for the PT/Evod heads. A little pricy but well worth it considering how many times I can re-wick the same micro coil.

I never realized how bad the rubber was until I started using the silicone. Soooo much better now.
