Is it safe to do this? ...

I have been experimenting with coils and wicks on my IGO-W to get the best wicking / juice capacity, I found that doing it like this picture works best... I do not see any reason why this would not be safe, except maybe it would short the coil if there is water in the VG? I assume that nothing else is conductive in e-liquids. I noticed my resistance change slightly from 2.0 to 2.2 ohms. Is there any reason why it is not safe to do this? (Put the wick between the coils, touching both posts as the gap is small)... Can you confirm that it's ok to do it like this? Thanks.

Because I do not have a drill and it is a nice draw with a single coil, when I get a drill or a file I will try dual coils. Is it better than a single?
