Lol, commie. I'd probably have an allergic reaction to that too!

I understand that what's released in the vapor is generally harmless to children and pets, buuuut, why take the chance? At home I vape in the bathroom or when the little ones are asleep and the cat is in another room (usually sleeping with one of my girls). It used to be that kids didn't need car seats or seat belts and that 9 out of 10 doctors recommended Pall Malls because it would cure everything short of the common cold and we all know how both those things turned out once the real research was done. My kids and cat won't be anyone's guinea pig until I'm completely convinced inhaling exhaled vape is no worse than breathing New York City air. I might have just shot my argument with that last bit, but you get my point ;-)

I am around my cat a lot of the time. She tells me what bothers her or not. When I smoked, I used an exhaust fan to pull out the smoke from my inside smoking area. She still hated it and would leave the area. I always felt guilty, but couldn't quit.

Now with vaping she sits on my lap. It doesn't seem to bother her in the least. At first she would see the vape cloud and tense up, smell the air, then relax.

I am happy that I quit smokes. My cat is happy that I quit smokes. When her sensitive nose doesn't get bothered by my vaping, I figure all is good. If I had kids I would likely vape around them as well.

The quantity of nic expelled by vaping is not harmfull to pets, although there are some that just run.... Other then that i can say that the nic dissapears within seconds in the air.

...

Just curious...

Where does the Nicotine go when it "dissapears"?

It dissipates. As for cats and PG go here for a brief on it. http://msdssearch.dow.com/Published...ycol/pdfs/noreg/117-01660.pdf&fromPage=GetDoc

After all that is said and done My personal experience is I have had many cats over the years and they all have ate dog food that contains pg and all died from old age. I have a cat now and have vaped for a couple years and no issues however when she happens to get into the vapor close and direct her nose doesnt like it.
