Dear Friends:
I have recently graduated from KR808 batteries to a straight Ego .. prior to trying the Ego tank. The liquids I get smell wonderful, however, do not vape the same smell - kind of yucky - both when using the Ego carts and KR808 carts. I have tried different juices and they all seem that way. Is it me and my taste buds or ??? Am trying Virgin Vapor for the first time (waiting for my delivery now) plus ordered a Joye 510 ... trying to get there ... Any other suggestions? Something I could be doing wrong, perhaps? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Hugs,
Tootles

i have also have just back into vaping and found a great company to get juices from...try Best Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - MyFreedomSmokes.com i live in rhode island and it only takes 2 days to get my order..my wife and i have tried menthol, marlboro, baileys irish cream, tutti frutti, and candy cane, and they are all great...I know what you mean buy getting bad liquid..I got out of this 2 years ago because of foam burnt and liquid taste...now im 3 weeks cig free using a ego tank on a provari and this company has really nice juice..

i have the tank...im not a fan of the foam that goes in any carts that was my problem and led me back to smoking 2 years ago...i was online about a month ago and saw the ego tank and decided to try it and bought that and was hooked...I could always notice a foam taste with any fluid when i used with the regular ego.."maybe it was the foam i was using..the blue foam"...i really think tanks are the way to go because no matter what when that foam gets dry or if your not always keeping it wet your gonna get a foul taste...a tank does that for you..I have not tried many juice companys but the juice I have been getting from myfreedomsmokes has been great and have really fast shipping....

I'm not sure you explained your problem well, but the battery shouldn't really affect taste - well, the voltage will, but seeing as you have the same problem with an 808 and an ego, I'd say it's the juice.
How are you vaping with the ego? Atty+cart? Dripping? Carto's?
I personally can't recommend Ego tanks (well, I only tried 510-T, but I'm quite sure it's similar). Not much flavor at all. But some people seem to like it, so you can always order an ego-t atomizer and some tanks to see if you like it.

Hi, Tootles! I'm trying to understand what the problem is. When you say 'carts', do you mean cartos (as in cartomizers)? or do you mean carts--as in atomizers? But since you mention kr808, I take it you mean cartomizers.

If so, what kind of cartomizers are you using? What brand and what resistance? That makes a difference. Also how do you fill them? Are you sure they are properly filled so you're not getting any dry hits, which would result in a rather awful, burnt, harsh taste?

If it's just your eliquid, well, taste is really subjective, so I can't help you here. I've tried many ejuices when I first started vaping, and I'm still trying new ones ccasionally, but I can't vape most of them. I have a few favorites and that's all I vape. But the process of finding the right juice is not easy; it takes some time. I suggest you read juice reviews and order small samples from reputable vendors. Trial and error, really!

Another issue is the VG to PG ratio and nicotine content, but with quality juices, that should not be a problem I often vape unflavored juice (just PG/VG and nic), and it tastes just fine.
