Is it too much to ask for a DNA30 tube-style mod???

I am a fan of regulated mods, DNA30/cloupor/CNA30 whatever! as long as it will sub-ohm, and give me at least 15-20 watts. Also, it needs to take 18650 batteries. The seven22 is close to what I'm talking about, but the crappy gravity-based controls, and the 26650 battery ruin everything!

Stop with the box mods already! or start making toppers that actually look decent on a box modes. There's nothing uglier to me than a round topper on a box mod.

Maybe what I want is out there, and I just don't know about it??

Wizard's Apprentice Evolved is one that springs to mind immediately.
There is also the Futura although I've seen some posts about issues in the ordering and post-sales service.

I'm sure there are others, or as BH above said, it's only a matter of time before the DNA20/30 tube clones come en masse from China.

Thanks for the suggestions!

segile - not sure of spelling - has a nice one. they also make Z Max :2cool:

Yea, Sigelei 20W also uses the annoying gravity control system....otherwise would be a win.

I guess there just hasn't been a cylindrical DNA mod that rings all the bells for me. I'm looking for all of the features and controls of the typical hana mod, but in a shape that actually looks good with toppers....

Looks like it would only fit a 18350.

That's OK for me, as long as it isn't 26650, or anything smaller than a 18350. My problem is that I can't buy something like that. There is no one producing a product like that, and I'm not interested in paying for a custom, otherwise i would just go with the Wizard's Apprentice.

Futura and wizard evolved are the only DNA mods I know of that are tube mods..the zna is a tube and box mod. Tobeco has a DNA clone tube mod. It was mentioned in beginning of thread.

Edit- and 18350's don't have the proper ratings for high power vaping.. you're not going to blow your face off, but it probably won't work properly from voltage sagging..from the load on battery. You'll need to run 18650's going up to 30watts..an 18650 regulated box mod can be more compact than a tube, reason why I like them, and they're a hell of a lot easier to work with.
