Quite like the look of this. Seems quite solid, nicely built. Im never gonna go above 30 watts, so until the dna 40 has been out for a good few months, im looking to purchase a dna 30. Also like the 1 year warranty! [emoji106]

Anyone got one?

Got the Solara a week past Wednesday and I love it. It feels nice in the hand, got a little weight to it which I like, build quality is great and coupled with the dna30 it is just what I was looking for, not disappointed with my purchase. Also I think they have really hit the mark with the styling, one of the best looking box type mods out there at the moment (IMO)
The black rap round panel I believe is aluminium and may be prone to scraps and scratches which is the only negative I can find with this mod, that said it's the same for most mods (there are wraps though, if it does get scraped up down the line, that's an option). Got a Silo for the top, same as Todd had in his review (his review finally swung it for me) and it is not a bad tank at all, but my aim is to get into dripping once my skill level is adequate, then I'll be in vaping heaven.
This is definitely worth putting on your sort list

I generally like the shape of the Solara, but I think their price point is about $50 too high. I've seen it from $150-$175 online, but it really needs to be $99-$139.99 to be really competitive. The VS DNA30 is $99 and despite the shorter battery life it is the better value in a DNA30 device. The Solara is currently priced too close to the VS DNA40 and SXMini to be a sensible choice unless you absolutely are in love with its form factor.

The Solara has been out longer than the IPV Mini, so take from that what you will. I wouldn't be surprised if the Solara was also manufactured by P4Y for Beyond Vape.

I know Beyond Vape has worked with P4Y on their new Smith Box 150 Mod. However, I didn't think P4Y made devices with Evolv DNA boards.

All that said -- this thing is way overpriced -- especially given you can get a VS 30 today for under $100.

I do like the Silo tank they sell -- better airflow than the original Nautilus. But, other than that -- it would seem that much of what BV sells are rebranded devices with a "premium" label and higher price tag.

It looks like the Solara has now gotten the clone treatment (available at FT for about $40): $40.52 SHIELD DNA 30S 30W VW Variable Wattage 2100mAh Rechargeable Box Mod - 7.0-30W / USB flexible charging cable / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Build quality looks a bit suspect in the pics however...the screen panel is coming off. Still, for a project box this isn't such a bad deal...use of the onboard DNA40 buttons so you don't have to rewire for external switches might make this a decent starter-DIY enclosure.
