I have been vaping for about 10 months now and currently use an Innokin iTaste vv 3.0. I love the battery and have no problems with it but I have been very curious about mods lately. I've done a little research and thought about building a cheaper mod just to see what its all about. Anyone have any experience or insight that I can use to help make a decision? Thanks!

You may want to peruse the youtube channels for building vape mods. There are lots of videos, many of which go into great detail about building mods from scratch using everything from plastic to wood. That would give you an idea on where you might want to start depending on your sill level with electronics/wood working/handling tools.

Depends on the kind you want... A simple box mod can be made for a couple bucks. a 5V or VV boost mod can be made with a ptn04050C chip for under $10... If you want more power than they can provide, you really start to get into the "is it worth it" territory...
Thanks for the quick responses! I will have to dig deeper into the forum and see what I can find. I have watched a few videos on youtube so far, seems to be a great place for mod info because you can get a good look at everything.
