Thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to stay with a local shop that isn't terribly higher than the online prices just to have the hands on support to get started on this new adventure. My Ego-T is working just fine right now, I'm struggling with finding the right juice, not the right hit. I'm sure the atomizers and tanks are going to give out eventually and I will then be looking for a better alternative to carry on with.

Fair warning to you the ego-T that you have and the ego-C that I have use the same tank system and frankly it is not great. Things just did not taste right in it for me. It is also very easy to burn an atty and get one wicked burnt atty hit. If it is working for you more power to you.

At 3 weeks in I wrote off the system and invested in a protank and some ce5 clearomizers. Protank came today and a juice that tasted like crap in the ego tank system is SOOOOOOO tasty in the protank. Nope never looking back.

I'm currently using a tank set up on my eGo Twist. But I am hearing a lot of hype about Vivi Nova's. Is it worth getting or is the tank set up fine?

Yes, go for the Vivi Novas. There are lots of options out there for the beginner, and few of them are truly bad. After you've been at this vaping thing for a while, you'll find that you'll want to try a variety of things until you find what's just right for you.

I started with an eGo-T setup (before the eGo-C Twist came out). It worked okay for a while but I didn't like the inconsistency and short life of the atomizers, which were relatively expensive. I went back to cigarettes for a while and then decided to order some twists and Vivi Novas. It beat my old setup hands-down. Would a Stardust or Kanger or whatever be better than the Vivi? Maybe--I haven't tried them--but the difference between any of these and the eGo atomizers is big.

Sounds like some are suggesting cartomizers (to which you can add a tank to increase capacity). By all means, try them too. I haven't, but for just a few bucks you can try some cartos and see if you like them. They are great by all accounts, but the idea of disposable parts (even if they are cheap) didn't appeal to me.

I used pre-made coils in my Vivis for a while, but then bought some 32 ga Kanthal and found I really enjoy making my own coils using cotton wicks. You may have to make three or four before you get the hang of it, but it's really not that difficult. My next step will be a Terminator (Odysseus clone--watch pbusardo's Odysseus video and his Vivi Nova one for that matter) and a mod that I'm currently building.

Your path may take you somewhere different, maybe you'll end up liking cartos or genesis style atomizers, but there's no way to know until you try. If you have brick & mortar vaping shop in your area, that might be a good place to pick up some things all in one place even if it costs a bit more than mail order. Good luck to you!
