Is it worth trying to build and sell a mod these days?

Would be a good idea to know a decent amount about electricity/electronics before sending off devices that could be potentially dangerous to the user. Most people start out building for themselves, like mentioned above, and if it catches people's interest they could end up possibly doing it for profit. Most importantly it's gotta be enjoyable for you to do, if you're someone who loves tinkering with things and inventing stuffs then its right up your alley.

I tried this out for awhile. I was making some bottle/tube fed mods for madvapes about a year and half ago. It became too much work for a person with a 9 to 5 job with wife and other hobbies. If you have a design that sells and is unique, look for companies like them to sell them for you. It will cut into the profits but they might send you the supplies for free. That is what Madvapes did for me. It was a nice setup, just not nice enough to make a crap ton of them. From what he told me, they sold out quick and wanted more.

Well. . Whatever it is won't be terribly pretty (believe me) but it will be something no one else even thought of- and extremely useful- I'm curious to know if everyone would just rip it off and start making it cheaper than I can, or if people are pretty loyal in terms of buying from the inventor .. or what

Just look over at the Chinese. They rip people's design off all the time. There is one company in specific that is selling a rebuildable atty that uses the fiber wick materials. You know the one. Another hint is that the tank chamber and the combustion chamber is one piece.
